Hi! I just like to share our first showreel www.startsladd.se All the material is our own. Filmed with the panasonic HVX200. The live sequences are shot with a cheap dv camcorder though. Just so people will understand what it looks like live on a big screen. Will make a HD showreel soon... let me kn...

Is there a way to use FreeFrame 1.5 also known as FreeFrameGL or FFGL in Modul8? (http://community.freeframe.org/news/fre ... -release-0)

I figured out a silly hardware workaround but if you really need to use the program you could buy a dvi-to-video adapter and loop back in to your computer with a video-to-firewire adapter (http://www.synthetic-ap.com/tips/firewireconverters.html) You need to find on that will work as an video input ...

if you google for "Stream your desktop as a Video using VLC" you can find another way to stream your modul8 output via internet...

Will it be in 2008?

icubeX looks just like that thing I need - not to expensive either. Thanx for the tip! Do you know about any sensor systems that are pre fitted on clothes - like a body kit or something like that? Sort of the same stuff that's used for green room animations

Can't wait! That's great news.

Will there ever be audio frequency control in Modul8? This is a very important part of VJ-ing! I'd like to use several frequencys to do lots of different stuff and at different peak levels. This is impossible in Modul8. How come VDMX5 has this function but not Modul8?

What I would like to do is to use a camera or on-body sensors on a person (the artist performing) to generate live visuals. Wich would be the cheapest way to do this with a good looking result?

Also is there any live motion sensing software for mac os x?

Cool but this is also a PC-only app right? Do you know if you can use pre-recorded green screen material instead of a live cam?

I have found that the most effective beat detection is to assign a key on my midi controller to Tap.

That's what I'm doing now but it takes lots of time away from doing other stuff - that's why I started this thread...

look this tread http://vjforums.com/showthread.php?t=23131 RedSound Micro came up somewhere recently few weeks ago. I have been looking one on ebay. Is this the device you are talking about? http://www.redsound.com/products/soundbitemicro Looks promising - wonder how well it works in modul8 and if ...

Hi I have searched a lot for a software or a module that will detect the BPM of incoming sound through the line-in of my soundcard and then send this to modul8 to sync with the bpm router module or other beat sensetive modules. Does anyone know about such a thing? I've downloaded the midiclock 1.2 a...
