OK...I mapped keys in position mode to load the same clip into 3 different layers. I hit the key and BAM they all loaded and played. Yeah.... A latch... I'm using an old Oxygen8 and I don't believe it had this functionality built into the hardware.... But the latch concept I'm very familiar with from audio work...I can already see I need to make modules....but any comment on a righteous midi controller fir m8 would be appreciated...

When I trigger a function like layer on/off for example....I can't get the button to stay "on" after I release the trigger....?

So I can't press the trigger, engage the layer, then move on with the layer still playing..?

Is this right?

I found a work around for "transport" of sorts.... Module's DC-PLAY-STOP-LAYERS PANEL and then GN-CHOPPER I use the cue point #1 to "reset" and DC to trigger playback...there must be a better way to transport and "scrub" in the layers....set in out points? matt

Thanks for your reply. I have trace functioning for the pre-built media that came with the DEMO i am using...I can load the pre-packaged videos and images and get trace to work, but I still cannot get the same effect with the live video input OR with Jpegs I load myself.... If I adjust the Alpha cha...

Can I apply the "trace" effect to the video input signal? I want to create motion trails of lights/fire waiving....The "trace" is perfect, but I cannot seem to get it to apply to th elive video feed from mu usb camera.

Can you help me?
