is there anyone here that would be interested in helping ( doing) me alter a iduuns module monamal to run from a couple of launchpads instead

hi yes thats what i am doing now i just wanted to be able to have some back up controls too the monome and the launchpad are there as a workaround as i cant figure out how to send info back i spent the last couple of day designing a ableton/modul8 controller for my ipad some pages for each app 2 mid...

so feedback is available only in the next version of TouchOSC ?

what is it that you are trying to do? send visual feedback to the ipad? or name the buttons? i am curious as i love the ipad modul8 combo i also have a couple of launchpads lying around and am interested in sending feedback from modul8 ( theres a great feature when using a launch pad with LIVE that ...

mpb has an express slot so would be actually using it for something...
firewire port is beng used by an external drive that has the media on
and shuts down if i try and chain the camera thru it

i need to add a stable video input to my modul8/macbook set-up
thats preferably non firewire

so what the best way to attach 2 cameras plus an external hard drive to a new mac laptop with only the one firewire input ? cant daisychain the camera thru the drive

also , im using,maybe 4 layers at once , do i still really need to use an external?

wow! what a great mod really well done! i had often found that tiles/kalidascope kinda fx were all or nothing , like you said as nice as they are,they lost too much of the original contents essence but with a little tweeking and your fab mod you can make some astounding effects well done!

i am using 3 controllers ( 1 has sliders) one hitable pads and a monome and still run out of knobs that do what i want having experimented with touchosc on my iphone and made a couple of test templates i am more than curious to see wether an IPAD would replace at least 2 of my current controllers an...

the filters

so i tried deleting all the prefs reinstalling etc
still no joy . the filters , petes and iua plugs
revert to zero on each layer when i reload the project
VERY frustrating indeed
anyone any more suggestions would be most welcome

which free frame filters are you using? some petes plugins a pack of iua i bought, some basic freeframe package stuff . try a plugin, set all value left (or minimum) save project as test 1 . use same plugin, set all values right (or maximum( save project as test 2 . load test 1 - did the values retu...

thats just it its a brand new fresh out the box laptop
with NOTHING but brand new mod8, new freefilters
idebticale ( as i can see) set up to my old laptop
which saves them fine
wish i could figure why
as i have an important show saturday
