try to play a single fullhd clip properly with a codec of your choice on a mac pro with a software raid. (no efx) it will always stutter. there might be client, who tolerate that but if you have to deal with costy videoproductions, modul8 at its current state is a absolute nogo. the hardware is not ...

but it would be also nice to implement a hickupfree
playback.
so it would be possible to play highres footage with modul8.
in the current state of modul8 it unfortunately not possible
to do commercial stuff.

its definitly a bug. or lets say a very special behaviour of modul8 in any other program i use, alpha channels were handled different. a simple test you can make is: make a image with a mask, which only has black and white inside the alpha channel. if you use it in modul8, you will get a white greyi...

it a known bug since years.
a workaround is using aftereffects.
