I had this problem. I used an external midi sequencer to re-trigger videos on the 2 macs before QT's on each machine began to drift.

QT has timecode embedded into it. we need a module to read the timecode and allow sequencing triggering from within M8.

is it possible to create a quicktime movie with embedded midi which plays in m8 and thus controls the modul8 events?

in theory i can play and midi file in quicktime player which controls modul8 ... but then it might lose sync

ok ... modules weren't in play mode so didn't register update

when i use export and import it doesn't update midi map!

I have modified my midi key map.

where are the midi map preferences stored? I need to copy them from one computer to another.

I am going off topic now as i have got a midi sequencer! which is great! using numerology2 how do i control the value of a knob? i can successfully trigger films to play and switch, but i need to adjust the opacity of a layer over a duration of the sequence. I have tried mapping a pitchbend to a key...

How do i sequence a show of video works without a midi sequencer? Or is there a basic midi sequencer i can get for the mac? I am not a music maker so i don't have a keyboard or logic audio.

How do I make a module to control the opacity of a layer by simple repeated clicking on the Griffin Powermate? or any key on the keyboard for that matter. I need to be in fullscreen mode on both monitor outputs. Ideally 3 keys to increase and decrease opacity.
