ok, well i just got some RAM and in my activity monitor i show that my real memory is only running around 440MB, which was the same that it was before when i had 512MB. Now i have 2G, yahoo, but shouldn't M8 be useing more of my real memory? (I have a G4 with a 1.6GHz processor)

When i have a video in my import list and i go under edit and under the info tab there are a few selections i have to chose from uncompressed, compressed, or disk. What are the differences between these? What kind of performance and video quality issues am I dealing with?
