i meant 100% transparency of certain areas in a clip. i.e. if i want everything that is 128+ (assuming 8-bit grey scale for now) to be 100% transparent and everything else (0-127) to be non-transparent would there be a way to achieve that using the luma keyer?

i tried this yesterday and found that i cannot get it to work as i would like to - or at least how i am used to it from resolume. there does not appear to be a control that selects at what threshold something will become (completly) transparent. does this mean the transparency is simply proportional...
it seems like we are arguing about terminology, but the fact is i am still not clear what is happening and how to fix it. to clarify, when i said black border i meant whatever shows through from the background (i.e. its the transparent bit), but because i had no other clips behind the one i loaded i...
i want to work with different size clips because for some the source is low res and it seems a waste to upsample them just to avoid having a border while wasting processing time and harddisk space. and i dont understand how modul8 cannot have a native resolution if i get a border for 320x240 clips b...
so from what you are saying this seems this is normal behaviour in your software rather than a bug or a configuration problem on my mac?? i find the solution with the master scale rather sub-optimal since not all the clips i intend to use are of the same dimensions, so some will either be clipped or...
