there has never been much info on how to setup the pj page in MM. So, can someone help me with this. I input two layers of modul8, side by side filling the output preview in modul8 output into madmapper input. They display side by side in the input filling the whole input screen. So, I go to the pro...

thank you Franz. That is the best news I've gotten in a while.I've been using multi layers in M8, stacking them in the M8 output and mapping my various channels to each layer in my MM input screen. that way I can get some crazy stuff going by just effecting the alpha, speed and scale in each layer a...

presets in madlight input screen would be nice to turn channels on and off according to the placement of fixtures. Right now I try to save certain configurations in the presets, turning channels off and on, it doesn't affect the output as all of my led strips light up and the channels I have turned ...

Does madlight support presets? I have tried making some presets in MM 1.6 and they don't work.I try to turn off some fixtures, etc in a few presets, and even though the fixture is gone in the Madlight page when I turn it off, the led strip still lights. The presets work great for surfaces, and I use ...

I upgraded to Yosemite and maybe that is the problem because it doesn't pair my bluetooth PS4 controller or does MM see it with the usb plugged in, nor does the controller even respond with the usb plugged in. Apple is really sucking out. is anyone else having problems or is it just my crummy imac.

i have tried everything, and it just does not accept any learn functions.

my artnet output monier no longer responds, no saved projects work, and the ps4 controller no longer works. what gives. I turned unicast off, but no response, even with a new project. nothing. All of my channels respond with NMU. I have a show this weekend and now my MM is screwed up. Is anyone else...

no

I found the bars you use...

I am unsure why you do not let people know that it is a readily available product AND cheap... available in cool white, warm white and rgb with all the accessories

where is the site you found these on? I am interested to see these.

does anyone know where to get programmable led bars that are cold white. i know Franz said they used multi channel white led bars for the orb, but where the heck did they get them? how many volts were they? i have been looking everywhere and no luck, and the rgb's are not so bright even with 50/50's...

brilliant, by using quartz patch you were able to " spin" your object in a 3d view using the planes as place mats, and you apply all your control inputs into the patch (?) allowing for the ps4 controller to effect the rotation and presets, while the audio analysis is in the patch. Also,by using the ...

cool, glad it was white. Did you use the quartz patch to control the 80 pixel bars? and, I promise last question, were they pixel tape or hard led? I hope I'm not being a pest, but your work is so interesting that i just want to figure it out so i can experiment with some of the elements for my setup...

ok, I think i get it, you were using rgb ( multi channel, 1,2,3 equals rgb) strips, and that's why the video was in black and white. can I see what it looked like in color, it is so cool.

what are multi channel strips? is that the same as addressable? can you give some info on the quartz patch you made for the orb? what kind of dimmers did you use for the orb? how many universes? what are the limits of madlight without using special led strips and quartz patch?

Can someone help me with madlight? I can get the strips to respond only to on off info in madlight. They will dim and brighten ( the entire strip) but that is all. I noticed on the geodesic orb 1024 made for the 2013 mapping fest they were not using madmapper at all to control their orb, plus they w...

I am having trouble getting the PS4 controller to learn functions. It will not hold anything I try to get it to learn, it just reverts to 'y" or "x" after I tell it to learn a function and assign it to a button or arrow. also, when I go to the surfaces it does nothing. Help please? I got it into my ...
