I updated modul8 and quicktime and somehow modul8 reacts very slow and won't do anything anymore....

I have a MBP and the BCR2000 (and M8 ofcourse). It's working great! And yes, also the BCF2000 is working.
For the best results you need M8 2.5 that contains MIDI-out, so you're BCR or BCF is doing the same as you. example: if you change the alpha channel of layer1, fader 1 is moving....
