Unfortunately not (Madmapper 3.7.1 Mac) if I drag&drop they end up in the image folder,
Same is happening if I try to import them with the + Icon into movies - they are imported but to images...

Is it possible to use animated GIFs without converting them to movies (and maintaining the alpha channel) ?

I found a solution/workaround:
I'm using a webcam software called "manycam" which turns up as a livesource in madmapper.
within manycam I could define a global shortcut for screenshots

You can use a capture card that automatically is recognized as a webcam. For instance I'm using the "elgato camlink" it captures HDMI input and shows up in madmapper under Live Input. That way you can us any Cam with clean HDMI output.

I'm just starting with MM, so learning 2 different workflows wouldn't really make sense. The event I'll need it for is in August. Is it realistic it would be released...
