Very strange to have these fields in the toolbar… I remember at some point it was in the properties panel of the quad. Yesterday I spent a few minutes trying to figure out why it has been removed until a saw it was up there… not very user experience friendly
madmapper is not the problem, you can have as many output as you want and the resolution can be huge, your problem will be the computer you use to achieve this… The mac pro is veeeery bad if you have more than 3 output. If it's only for a show it's ok, you'll bleed a bit to set everything up properl...
there's some sort of bug in the preview window when you disable antialiasing for DMX. If you quit and reopen your project, the antialiasing is disabled (only in the preview, the dmx values are right). You need to select your fixture to have the antialiasing disabled again
It's convenient because you go directly from your computer to the board using artnet, no need for a dmx controller. Also, depending on the power consumption (number of LEDs by output) you can use the power given by the board.
