Strange. Could you send: - a screenshot of the list of network interfaces you see in MadMapper / Preferences / DMX Output ? - a copy / paste of the output of command line (cmd.exe) "ipconfig" Here you go. One screenshot is of Madmapper 5.0.7 and 5.1.3 output list. It's the same across these two ver...

Hi! When I try to choose my ethernet port as artnet output to control LED pixels it gives an error saying: Madmapper failed to open port on selected network interface (...). Either the network is not available or another application opened the ArtNet port exclusively. (Put the text here for people t...

Timeline is a feature that is sorely lacking in MadMapper. If you don't need to set values to a specific second in time and if you are looking for something procedural, luckily MadMapper offers Oscillators . I recorded a video for u. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSipY7lpMNE Maybe this is what ...

indeed the new raspberry sounds (very) promising for the MiniMad
but it will require a lot of development, testing and so on
(it's in the team plans though)

Great! Looking forward to it!

Hey!

Is there a possibility to control parameters with just timeline, I mean so that it scrolls through the values automatically? Like in a way that let's say the red value of solid color would bounce up and down during a specified time.

Thanks!

On the second row set “out channel" to 512 or it will override the data from the first row.

Thank you, that solved it!

Hi! When using the one line code on teensy 3.2 with ws2812, I ran into a problem. I does not let me add a second universe to the same line as is the first one. I have five rows of ws2812, each 60 pixels and with that I can only run almost three full rows, but a few of the last pixels are blank so I ...

Great that you solved it. I never had to play with this "#define FASTLED_ALLOW_INTERRUPTS 0" but I might not have the same version of FastLED library, that might explain your issues. I don't understand the relation between your teensy and "Leonardo serial line" To be honest, me neither, but hey, it...

OH MY GOD I SOLVED IT!! If someone has the same issue add (#define FASTLED_ALLOW_INTERRUPTS 0) just before defining FastLED!

Update: I found that the serial problem was caused by that Leonardo serial line, fixed that. But still there's awful amount of flickering

Also, the just test leds row works, but still only if I open serial monitor. At first, when I upload the script, the leds are just blank or have the output that was there from the last madmapper session. It will run on if I close serial monitor, but nothing will happen unless I open the monitor.

mmmm.... if you use the "single-line" sketch with "JUST_TEST_LEDS", it should do exactly the same as the other one. It's not even communicating with MadMapper or reading / writing on serial port. You can simplify the code to remove all useless things until you have the same code than the other one....

Hi, If you uncommented "//#define JUST_TEST_LEDS" and it's still not working, while the simple-test.ino is ok. The only difference I see is in the simple-test.ino, there's a "delay(10);". I doubt that could change anything but you can try the simple-test with this delay commented to see. Are you su...

Hi! I can run the test simple-test.ino script on both the teensy 3.2 and 4.0, but the single line serial script won't run. Sometimes it gives me some almost random output and glitches, but mostly, it's just black. I have connected the teensy to a mutual ground with the leds and the computer and the ...

We need to add the VendorID / ProductID in the software. I added it so 4.0.9 should handle it. Release next week.

Yay! Thank You!
