adjust the "from" and "to" numbers on the module - 0 to 15 is bank A, 16 to 31 is bank B etc, set it to 0 to 127 and it will use all the clips

yep. use the Slide Show module, it has a next and previous butto to select the next media

I dont think modul8 outputs via firewire.

You can do it by using an analog to firewire device like a camcorder with analog in and dv passthrough, or a formac dv studio analog to dv converter amd plug the firewire into your master computer

Each to his/her own i suppose, i love my VMX/Modul8 set up, apart from a faulty usb cable its been pretty much perfect.

I thought the Behringer i had was nasty, it was the BCR not the BCF.

Go to your system preferences, click on sound, then Input.

Once you've got sound going into Modul8 you can set pixel fx or animation fx to "sound in" (drop box at the top of each)

Sorry i cant help with modules, not yet anyway.

use the slide show module, click on the "wait movie" box and set it to 1 second, then it will play one clip after another, then back to the first one etc etc

If i read what you're saying correctly you want layer 1+2 to output to videocard 1, layers 3+4 to videocard 2 and layers 5+6 to videocard 3

I dont think thats possible, its all about layer positioning when using multi output cards rather than assigning layers to outputs

I name my clips according to its content, for example a clip could be called People_dancing_girl_reddress02.mov or Machine_robot_acidrobot01.mov i then use the folder search bar to find a bunch of clips i need quickly I use an app called "A Better Rename" to add text to the start of filena...
