thank you, I have tried this; the manual is not clear on using modul 8 to make qt for use in other programs aside from modul8
...only capturing from outsources--not directly making a qt

ok saw how to do this. seemed to work fine except the rendering stops right before it finishes. I tried this with several projects...all under a minute in length. It freezes on a frame and stays there and I need to force quit. any suggestions? I looked through the message board and this seems to be a common issue. I tried several suggestions to no avail.
Is disk warrior my only solution?

I think it is a limitation of your hardware because if your computer have lower specs on it.... the rendering takes a long time or is freezing. And ... depends what format you chose and what codec you used with how many frames. But to be honest I am trying on my dual G5 with 8 GB Ram and a 10.000 rpm and I am not happy about the results. I tried a lot of codecs and formats and frame rates and it is freezing or I am loosing a lot of frames....so it's maybe a limitation of the software not a really hardware problem, because in my case I can consider that I got some good specs on my computer. For some reason I do not see that many people commenting about this problem ,I asked some questions in the past with no answers about what it is wrong with this picture...and I am still confused not an answer so far that it solved any of the problems that I had in the past....and I still have.
