hello,
i just got a matrox dual head2go analog. how can i make soft edge blending of one big video on 2 projectors?

i tried "layers position setter" module, but i don´t get it. if i make a soft edge with an alpha channel mask i loose a part of the video...

if i show left part in one layer, right part in a second layer, crop them etc, i loose sync...

you have to start them with the vs media to layers module

it seems to work. thank you for your help!
but ... is there no easier way to do it like this:
1. layer 1 put a mask with a softedge alphachannel in the center of the screen
2. vs media to layer module to play a movie on layer 2 + 3 same time
3. crop them both with crop layer module
4. layer position module to position the two parts of the video

i think you'll need two soft edge layers - one for each clip.

yes, maybe better...

but isn´t this all something for the next update? it sounds like a procedure we need like a setting we can fix in the advanced output setting.
