damn - i must say this multi out thing ROCKS! i was playing with the output window configs and had 4 outs running 7 layers at 640*480 with effects and matrix gen. there was not even a stutter. nice work guys. the app ran stable through several hors of testing.

question: is there any way to channel an audio signal to the CI and FF fx? presently the fx just sit there unless i play with my mouse (or keyboard). it would be nice to have some kind of automation here, such as audio analysis.

also, where can you set which output goes to which gfx card output? granted, i haven't actually hooked anything up to the extra outputs on my gfx cards. so perhaps this is dome with sys prefs > display > arrange?

finally, i really still would like an answer to the issue of performance of the CI fx on my 6600 - as stated, i found that if i added anything half way complex to the 6600 (TV output) the monitor went black or the layer turned into a white triangle and became unresponsive. (the testing i described at the top was done exclusively on my 7800GT - had all output windows non-full screen and stretched across the top of my monitor. the 7800GT can swallow almost anything i throw at it - contrary to the 6600...)

    thanks
