Anyone using this combo and can report on how well it works?
I am upgrading to a Macbookpro and I want to make sure the bcf-2000 is compatible with the intel Macs. I am also interested in reports of which midi controllers are working flawlessly with the MBP Modul8 combo. such as x-session, UC-33e , faderfox, microkontrol, etc. I am getting ready to purchase modul8 and MBP with a Midicontroller and I just want to make sure to get a midi controller/interface that works. any info is greatly appreciated!!!.
Thanks

I have a MBP and the BCR2000 (and M8 ofcourse). It's working great! And yes, also the BCF2000 is working.
For the best results you need M8 2.5 that contains MIDI-out, so you're BCR or BCF is doing the same as you. example: if you change the alpha channel of layer1, fader 1 is moving....

I don't think the BCF is motorised, am I wrong?

I'm sorry but yes you're wrong, the BCF is motorised...

8 ultra-precise 100-mm motorized faders for ultimate control of virtual mixers, organ-drawbars (inverse mode) or virtual synths and samplers

Very happy with my UC33 and MacBookPro.
Could you explain how to do that? I don't manage it!

My BCR does not respond to Modul8 output...so no feedback
do I have to configurate my BCR2000 in a special way? it does not seem to be "motorize" for the moment...
this motorisation is crutial for a performance I'm doing frieday...but not clue how to make it work!!!
thanks for the help

BCF 2000 works fine in midi IN/OUT and yes it's motorized.
Boris built a module for the BCF2000. Though it's a beta version it's very efficient and easy to customize it. I'm using it and it's great.
the only constraint is to use the default midi binding prefest of the BCF2000 .
