    multi-projection feature...

    by diegolum » Thu Sep 28, 2006 7:32 pm

Hello, Im new on this forum.

Im Arkaos user (sorry) But Im reaaally interested in the new multi-projection feature of the v2.5 future version.

    so I have two question:

1._How is the bigger size of the image that we can output from module8. I mean for example 640 x 480 or 1024 x 576 or maybe 2880 x 576 ??? of course I assume that depend also of the power of my machine.

2._(very tipical) Wen will be ready de v2.5 version???

    Thanks in advance

i can only answer your first question :)
well basically it only depends on your Graphic card output size& slots. if you have a GC who can displays 1920x1200 and if you have 4 GC in your Mac you can output up to 8x (1920x1200)screens ...huh and even more if you combine this with a Matrox dualHead2go or TripleHead2go

it's really worth buying Modul8 i think ti's the cheapest softedge solution on the market

Hello Lupin, thanks a lot for your information about resolution and screen, the Matrox option it is fantastic on a laptop.

Yesterday I just play a little with a demo off module8, and I need to say that the image quality is reaaaally good. and frame rate is ok at. 25 fps. :D

The only think how is a little confusing for me is the midi. Normally I use cubase (music program) on a computer with some audio tracks and midi data send to an other computer with arkaos to trigger and synchronize some video clips. but on module8 i cant find the way to make the start point of the video clip because the loops are playing continuously and i can't control there exactly start point in order to syncronize them to the music. sorry for this basic question but I want to be sure if this tool can work for me.

sorry for my english, my french is better but i can't write it.

The first knob, at the left in the "play" option change the start point of your layer.
