I run Modul8 v.2 on Quicksilver G4 1.4ghz. 1.5gig RAM. ATI Radeon 9700 128mb with Core Image support.
Does M8 use Core Image and GPU in any way to enchance playback and how to take full advantage of it?

CoreImage (unlike CoreVideo) does not enhance the playback. Basically it is a plug-in format which uses 3D shaders for fast rendering. You can access CoreImage plug-ins from the Filters module in V2.5.

CoreVideo is automatically used in V2.5 when possible. So you don't have anything to do.
