    +/-/++ Buttons

    by rolin » Sat Jan 20, 2007 8:20 pm

    Hi there,

    just one thing, that drives me crazy and
    I don't know what I didn't get right here.

    There are two areas of +/-/++ Buttons.
    One located beside layerset A and one beside B.

    So why is it, that I press the + Button beside layerset B and
    the new layer appears in an empty slot in layerset A.

    I would expect it to appear in layerset B when I press the + beside B!

    Do I expect something wrong?

    Because if it works like the way it does,
    there is no need for 2 sets of +/-/++.

    The major problem is, that
    this way and when we are working with layerset A online and B hidden
    and I want to add a layer in B (i.e. copy a layer w/ ++)
    the new layer shows up online in A and f.... up everything!

    Thx alot,
    rolin

    I think they just do exactly the same thing... I never use the ones near the group B :roll:

    If there are free layers in both groups, the new layer will be created it in the same group of the last selected layer. If they are not free layers, il will fill independantly of groups.

    So the second set of buttons is either
    over-determined or just not working properly?!.

    In any case useless..

    :(

    ..even though it would be very usefull,
    if it would work as expected.

    Because as I wrote:
    I don't want a new layer to appear in the online set A,
    when I prepear a set for a switch in B.
    Especially when I copy a layer with content!
