    Modul8 V2.5.3 Released

    by yves@garagecube » Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:25 pm

A new version of Modul8 is available right now:

    - Many optimizations
    - Improved path for G4/G5
    - Fixed an issue where Modul8 was not playing a movie after very fast media triggering
    - Workaround for Quicktime 7.1.5 problem with CoreVideo.

Available as usual from the application (Modul8 menu).

Yves, guys, here is some positive feedback about V2.5.3 on a G4 machine -
I ran V2.5.3 on my iBook G4 933 OSX10.4.8 last night for 6 straight hours
with no slow down, just great straight through performance and
more importantly none of the dreaded 'Loading...' but never loading
on a layer problems that were apparent after running for a while with V2.5.2
which were so hard to pin down.

It's lovely to be back with all the 2.5+ features after a 'dry' spell on V2.0.2 - thanks.
    Gareth
    (p.s. Still on QT 7.1.3)

    Hi,
Is it recommended to replace the modules included in download each time there is a new version of modul8 ?
Are they improved or modified to match the new version ?
    Thx

    :)
    Thanks Yves! Works great.
...and take it from a 'new-bee' (lol), there's nothing like Modul8 out there... I hang my head in shame -wiping every single last bit of info of the ol' Mac about 'whatever' is out there.
    Modul8 rocks!!!

    upgrade from 1.1

    by wavecal22 » Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:53 pm

Hi, I just realized that my software is slightly outdated(chuckle)

I currently have 1.1. Is there any way I can upgrade to the newest release?
