    Live quicktime broadcasting

    by ker2x » Fri May 04, 2007 11:28 am

    Hello,
i run the demo of modul8 (testing testing) on a macbook pro.

I use Quikctime broadcaster and a quikctime streaming server to do live streaming (from a camera) to internet or, better, to secondlife.

Is there a way to stream the outpout of modul8 to a quicktime streaming server, or quikctime broadcaster, or any additional (cheap) software to di live DJing on internet (or secondlife) ? (i know i'll have a problem with lag and poor quality, but it's not a BIG problem).

(in QT broadcaster the output of modul8 don't appears as a video source)

    thx thx :)

Well, there is no integrated feature like that in Modul8. It would be interesting to known what is needed to support QT broadcaster in Modul8.

you can have a .mov file with the link to your stream in it. I don't think this would work as it's only a text file with .mov extension but it's already better than just the link to the sdp file
