Hello people!
I have just started to fiddle around with Modul8 and find it great so far. I have encountered two problems though. I converted a lot of old videoclips to mov and mjpeg with a program called erightsoft SUPER. But when i imported the clips onto modul8 only a few of them would acctually show up. A majority had a red dot in the middle refusing to play back. What could the problem be? I encoded all the clips the exact same way.

Secondly I often find when i'm playing around with my midicontroller, fading between the groups and such that it suddenly becomes just white. When i fade more i can get some of the omage to appear but it's still embedded in this very white fog. I always end up reverting the project as i never can find out how to get it back to normal. A bit dim i know but i'm really new to this.

Probably everybody has some favorite video converter. I prefer MPEGSreamclip

It is Free, it is fast, it does batch conversions and has always worked. I use photoJPG (high=75% quality)
I have a feeling that your problems are codec related.
