I have read much of the info and pros and cons on the whole mjpeg VS photo-jpeg, and I see that Modul8 recommends using Pjpeg.
Is there something within Modul8 that makes pjpegs the better choice?
I'm just wondering, because I have loads and loads of clips, almost all mjpeg at 75%. However, I do feel like playback of clips, especially my larger ones, can be sluggish at times, even with them coming off a fast external drive.
Is it worth it to either re-render clips as pjpegs (or batch convert existing clips)?! I guess I am just wondering if there is THAT much more of a benefit.
