Greetings to all. For any reason .qtz-files do not work. For example http: // www.visionsonore.net/modul8/SlideShowM8.dmg this. Folder SlideShow has been copied on a desktop as is specified in the instruction. During accommodation on a layer the corresponding file .qtz does not deduce the pictures placed in catalogue Slideshow, the screen remains black. In what there can be a business?

I think you must export your quartz composition to .mov then you can use it in modul8. Maybe it changed, but last time I used a quartz file in modul8, I had to export to .mov first

I understand that there it will work. But it is not meaningful. Support .qtz files me interests first of all because of an opportunity of these files to react on any external data (for example on audio-input) At converting in .mov such opportunity is lost. Support .qtz files in such kind is in vdmx.

I'm sure I've loaded .qtz files straight into Modul8 and used the audio input for audio reactive visuals.

You can describe in detail that you did? And to give the reference to a file which used? For me does not work.

Hi:
I have a different problem. I use files .mov or .qtz smoothly and reacting to audio Sundflower as if I have the settings in the patch "audio input"; not react to the sound when using the input line. Why? Because in the file. Qtz, in the patch "audio-input" is checked in settings option sundflower.ok, what change a line in, I close. When they open again has not changed the setting of the patch "audio input", continues the sundflower instead of line in.

That is why I can not use the files. Qtz having the "audio input" in Modul8. The other seamlessly,OK. .qtz .mov (qtz)

Does anyone have the same problem? .It is a "X File"....

regards

I can get qtz files to play but they don't react to sound input etc. Only if i use modul8 effects e.g. auto scale etc?
Can someone please explain what i need to do?

i was of the understanding the qtz files would not react in modul8 only by using the modul8 features....

I can import Quartz files into M8 -
I just drag & drop them into the media manager.

After I was not able to import AI and PDF files via the menu,
I realised, that it worked w/ drag & drop.

M8 seems to get all the inputs first (MIDI, audio in),
but it doesn't put the signals through to the loops,
which I think are rendered by the QuickTime engine.

Usually a Quartz composition plays 'til you pull the plug,
but after import M8 limits every comp to 30 seconds.

The only workaround is to export everything into
QuickTime files of a desired length.
