length & size of quartz comps

    by bAjA » Sun Apr 27, 2008 7:45 pm

is there any way to change the default length and size of quartz compositions when loaded into modul8..?

at present they show in the inspector as 30sec & 640x480..

my main issue is that my generative partners restart every 30 seconds..

(i realize exporting as quicktime is one solution - but it has its own issues)

As this is my first post after 12 months of using modul8 and much reference to this forum - a quick thanks to the M8 team & the forum members...

    cheers _bAjA

I am afraid exporting as quicktime
with the desired length and resolution
is the only solution here and now.

Because of the fact, that Quartz Composer files always
restart after a given time (default is 30 sec.)
this can only be called pseudo generative.*

Even if I love M8, this is the reason
    why I ogle with VDMX.

    It's the only program with
proper QC integration at the moment.

    So hurry M8 team ;)

    Cheers,
    rolin

*also because external audio and video signals
don't find their way through to the QC clips.

    ok... thanks...

i thought VDMX might be the future- but after much testing and excitement at its versatility and quartz integration.. i think m8 wins on speed...

but without doubt quartz is future... so seconded hurry up m8...
