    Video Streaming as input

    by Ogl » Thu Mar 17, 2005 6:27 pm

At first, sorry for my bad englih.

It is possible to catch a video stream (using VideoLanClient to stream webcam sources over a network) ?
I want to switch between 5 different streams in the same output, so Modul8 seams to be a good solution.

If you give me your stream's URL I can try for you.

I can't, it's on an intranet. MP4 streaming with VLC.

How to open a stream as a media?

hum... ok... I'm not sure it will work like that.... Modul8 only opens files that QuickTime can open. If you must open your mp4 file in VLC it may not work with modul8... I don't even know if you can add a stream file in modul8... maybe in the future. bye

If the stream is encapsulated in a QT file, it *may* work... we did not really test this kind of QT features with Modul8. Download the demo and try to drag your QT files to Modul8 to see if it works.

Bonjour, vu que vous semblez habiter à Genève je me permet de m'exprimer de français.

Il me reste donc à trouver un moyen de faire du streaming de fichier QuickTime pour tester cette solution.

    Merci de votre réponse.
