    Try "modul8"

I pronounce it "modulate", one definition: "To vary the frequency, amplitude, phase, or other characteristic of (electromagnetic waves)."

I think it's stellar you guys were pumping out V2 before the paint even dried on the debut version.

    Good one!

Seriously, though, it'll be done when it's done. The guys did a superb job on V1 and excelled themselves with the beta. I can wait. No, really. Just not very patiently!

Yes it is a good one.

Of course we want to release this new version as much as you want it to be released ; and economically, the sooner is the better. On the other hand, stability is very very important for a software destined to live performance. And we don't want to sacrify the quality of Modul8 2.0 just to finish a couple of weeks sooner. Our users expect a product as polished as the V1.0 is, and we don't want to disappoint them.

While Modul8 V1.0 was a pretty complicated piece of software the V2.0 is much more complicated and integrates many new paradigms that will have to stay for quiet some time in the application. Modul8 is destined to continue to grow in the future, so it is important to take the time to build the application correctly.

So be patient, we already have fixed most of the know issues and we are getting closer to the final release every day. I'm sure everybody will be very happy with the final version.

    Yves.

    I was just kidding.

Thank you so much for making the beta available. The things I am doing now, and will do at the show on saturday, would not be possible without splitting the layer sets into two groups. It's going to be a blast.
