Hi folks,
Checking in here; I've been using M8 since 2011 and it has always been my go-to platform (via Syphon into MadMapper) for live visuals. However, since it hasn't added any new features or performance improvements in a while I'm concerned about sticking with it in the future. Everyone I know doing live visuals in Boston (USA) are using Resolume, often in combo with Touchdesigner to create amazing visuals.

I would love to keep using M8 with MadMapper, but I need to see some new things like better/easier to use text and drawing layers. I would also love to see updates to keywords support in modules. For example, "ctrl_layer_id" appears to do nothing. You can get the internal id of a layer via "modul8.getValue('info_layer_id', 0)" but without being able to address the layer directly via id you have to write extra code to manipulate the layer in the layerSet.
