Hello everyone!

In quick response to some of the complaints showing up in my support mail and the forums the team has just released a quick update from v.255 to v.256 to address the following:

- A rare usage of the Python keyword "setValue" that would result in a crash.
- Flash playback in modul8 crashing PPC and Intel based computers.
- Modul8 crashing when using two displays.

To download the update you can access the 'Download modul8 update' command from the 'modul8' menu. If you receive an error trying to do this then just email me at support at modul8 dot com and I'll send you a fresh link. Not to be confused with fresh drink... we're not quite there yet. ;)

Cheers,

Hello Gary,

I just double checked the file on our server and downloaded it locally and it is definitely v.2.5.6 when I launch it and get info on it.

If you have installed it did you click on the modul8 icon in your doc to launch it with v2.5.5 still installed? If so then the icon in your doc is linked to it and not the new version. You will have to either create a doc icon of v2.5.6 or completely remove v.2.5.5

Cheers,
