i am completely new to the vj thing and still very confused... .
what would the general workflow in modul8 look like?
i guess that al the controls on the mainpanel are altered just here and there and not the whle time right?
is it like in an audio sampler that in the media field lie my original clips (samples) which then are put into the layer slots (like the programs in the sampler) where the appearence will be altered (like vcf,vca, ...).
how is then the basic workflow?
i put some nice clips in the layer slots and apply effects to make them lok nice. how is then performed? i dont get it. in arkaos the different clips are triggered by midinotes (keyboard keys) how is this archieved here?
if i change the media in the layer does the parameters for the effects stay the same or are they somehow stored with the media? if not how does this make sense?
