hi,
if I am not mistaken this means, that the media is not loaded into ram.
the way m8 works is that it depends on a fast machine.
if you have a lot of ram, than the media gets stored there.
You can also define which media is preloaded.
If not preloaded then the media will not play as smooth as if fully loaded.
If you press the in the left corner of the footage window you will find
a window that tells you everything you need to know about the footage
and you also can make decisions on how the footage is viewed if you processed the footage.
the is a manual on your space (where you download m8) where you can read about the specs.
