I bought this briliant little bit of software for feeding a video stream through Skype -only problem is, its quite basic, so I want to run modul8's output through one of its channels.

In a nutshell - is there a way in which I can ask camcamx to find the preview stream coming from Modul8?

Because although there IS a live feed from modul8, the only way I could currently do it is to record a movie, render it and then put it in the camcamx as a quicktime.

But as CamcamX handles webcam inputs, multiple cams and sources - its SO close to be doing this...

Any bright sparks out there.. give me a clue!!

if you google for "Stream your desktop as a Video using VLC" you can find another way to stream your modul8 output via internet...

I figured out a silly hardware workaround but if you really need to use the program you could buy a dvi-to-video adapter and loop back in to your computer with a video-to-firewire adapter (http://www.synthetic-ap.com/tips/firewi ... rters.html) You need to find on that will work as an video input device on your computer.
You could could also buy a dvi-firewire adapter but they are a bit expensive.

OR you could send the guys at camcamX an email, ask them and not spend any money : )
