    Layer group transfert

    by pixi » Fri Oct 03, 2008 11:06 am

Hi! I was wondering if merging the content of two projects in one
is possible. I actually have a set of a friend and I'd like to merge
it with my set (with all features like BPM, FX, etc.)

Do you know a way to do that?

    Thanx

that would be the coolest feature, but i havent come across a solution to do this. this way i could collect my nicest collages into one set...

You mix the visuals within one project. Although I admit that being able to merge layer sets from different projects would be great it is not necessary. When you say "stuff" do you mean clips or compositions?
You can always export compositions as clips and then compile them all in one project.

yeah i think i mean compositions.
but when I'm merging these compositions into one exported clip, i can't edit the parameters, like rotation ... , anymore?!

    oh my...

I'm afraid that to do what you want you'll need two computers and a video mixer.
