Hi guys

I use final cut pro 5 to edit my movies and i use m8 for my vjing stuffs .
I use H.264 compression type in final cut (by default)to compress my videos .
I recently read in an article which is better to use photo-jpeg compression for less lag between triggering the loops . I tired both compressed versions in m8 but i couldn't feel the differences .
I'm newbie and my english isn't good either ('')
please tell me which compression type should i use to compress my movies ? .

This is a good tread that explain using codec wel.

It started on 2004, but basics are still the same.
H264 is usable on new fast macs, but for movie time manipulation photo-jpg is better. It is like a slideshow of frames.
