hello all
I need some advice on specs for the 8 core Mac pro. What graphic cards 2 ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT with 256MB or a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT with 512MB, If anyone has one of these how do they perform with Modul8. How do they cope with loads of layers and effects. Has anyone pushed a Mac Pro to its limit?

Please advise, pros and cons appreciated.

I never used more than 2 cores with vj-ing on a mac pro with modul8.
I would go for fast diskaccess> two 7200 disks as raid 0, (software raid0)
It;s more important than the cards imho
