PROBLEM ON TV OUTPUT THRU MATROX TRIPLEHEAD

    by trvor » Sun Dec 28, 2008 12:25 am

    Hi,

I'm trying to output on 1 projector and 2 TV for a installation using modul8 and a matrox triplehead digital on a macbook pro.

I made a 4/1 ratio modul8 composition with three 4/3 movies side by side. The image projected on wide screen work fine but I can't get a image on the TV screens.

I just have a black and white scrambled image. Is it due to the Hz frequence. The TV are 50Hz put I can only project in 60Hz from the Matrox triple head.

    Could someone help pleaseeeeeeeee ?

I'm using 50Hz TVs. The Tvs are connect to the matrox with a DVI to VIDEO (RCA) adaptor from apple.
The RCA cable goes right to the TVs thru a peritel adaptor.

    any idea ?

I replied on the french forum (please don't double post...)

for those who are interested, there are different types of DVI and only one supports analog video. the apple adapter only works on a macbook pro or same dvi connectors, not on every DVI types...
