Hey there,

I recently stumbled upon VJing by accident - I needed to create some visuals for a party fast, found M8 and fell in love with it. And since I discovered a fascination with visuals in the process, I decided to buy it - but before I do, I have a question (please forgive me if this has been answered before, I searched around the forum and found nothing):

Is modul8 v3 coming anytime in the near future, and if yes, will previous owners get a rebate on upgrading? I really want to support this software, but even with your student discount, 200€ are a nice chunk of cash, and I'd hate to have to spend it again in a few months

In our recent newsletter posted http://www.garagecube.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3922 we made an announcement about v2.6 that will become available at the end of the 1st quarter of 2009.

A little follow up on this thread here. In the coming months we will be announcing changes in pricing policy in terms of upgrade options. We will aim for fairness in stability. Fairness in order to not burden those who love and support modul8 and stability so that we can keep on developing modul8.

There is something I don't understand.

The next release anounced for the begining of 2009 is modul8 2.6
Not 3.0
so the owners of a 2.5 license won't have to pay to uprgade ?

Or am I mistaken ?

The release scheduled for the end of the first quarter will be v2.6.
We are in the process of finalizing the details of the release.

I bought Modul8 2. .... of course I will buy the upgrade, and I´ll do it the first day it´s out there, but I´ll pay for Modul8 3.0..... I hope I don´t have to take out my credit card before that¡¡¡
