    Fullscreen issues

    by gruvless » Mon Jan 12, 2009 9:42 pm

    Cheerz!
I'm having a problem, hope you can help me to solve it.
first off all, pardon my english..hope as well you can understand my doubt here.

I'm trying to use modul8 with my new mbp. I plugged in a secondary screen to help me with my work and I can't fullscreen the auxiliary display. When I press cmnd+U, it fullscreens the main display in my laptop. This hides modul8 interface and I can't work.

    Please help.
    Thnkz

    Thanks for the reply m8.
I've already done that. I use this second monitor as a suport display as a need a lot of workspace.
Still cannot understand why this happens.

By the way, I'm from Lisbon, Portugal.
Can you please help me? I've a gig this saturday and need to have this solved.

    This is a little confusing.

First, are you using a Matrox Double or Triple Head? from your description it seems like you are trying to go full screen on a second monitor but also use it for "a suport display as a need a lot of workspace. "

If you need Modul8 to go fullscreen on an external monitor you need to select Output->Advanced Output Setup-> then select Output Main->none and Output 2-> Clip 1.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello there.

Did you play around with the 'advanced output' settings at all? If it is enabled then disable it because it is likely that the if it is then the 1 clip you created may be set to 'Output main.' That forces the output to be displayed on your main screen (the one where the modul8 interface resides).
