Quicktime X (coming with Snow Leopard), and Modul8

Reading what scant details I'm seeing about Quicktime X, I'm hoping for some reassurance Modul8 will function with it.
It sounds like, reading phrases like "QuickTime X would be a ground-up rewrite", and "based on Core Audio", that it will be fundamentally different.
Since Modul8 seems so highly dependant on Quicktime, the question of Modul8's future with Quicktime X is a rather obvious one.

We have not completed tests yet. We will let you know as soon we have a final word on that.
I do highly recommend caution with rushing to upgrade to the latest and greatest if you are in a critical production environment.

Interestingly enough I just updated my MacBook Pro to 10.5.7 and now when I open up the screen from sleep mode I can't access my cursor or keyboard. Not too happy about have to find a solution for this that could have been aided by NOT updating.
My rant of the month.

ilan, I can't remember a time when sleep mode ever worked correctly. Not one of the 4 Macs I own can ever sleep and wake up properly. It's been about a decade.

. sleep mode seems hit or miss... i guess my mac isn't a morning person!

Well I just Modul8 2.5.8 on a fresh 10.6 install and I can say, at the very least, works. No major errors or glitches. Frameframe plugins still work also.
Of course what we all want to know, will Modul8 work even better in 10.6 than the current OS.
One of the best things is the complete switch to 64bit for core OS apps - it would be good to know Modul8 will address more than 4gb of RAM to load clips into......

suddenly i'm not so eager for M8 2.6 update.. getting it right as usual. i aasume the snow leopard will make my computer high like the boss dj. pure, uncut code.
