    A>B becomes A+B

by Jesper Fryd » Mon Jun 27, 2005 8:46 pm

Really love the new A<>B mixing feature of V2, although:

If all my layers in A have transparent background (via luma key or alpha), then the layers from B are visible underneath.
I can see why this happens, since you basicly just split the old 10 layers into 2x5.
But I am not sure if this behaviour is to be considered a feature or a bug...?

It basicly means that I have to waste layer 5 with a black solid if I want to have transparency in A...

Hi Jesper, you need to enable your prefered option of A and B fading or scaling on the fader section and all is as you wish! x x

ah, on both on them. now I see.

actually, that happens even with both set to "fading".

as layer set A is fading out, you can "see through" opaque parts of the top layers
(this only becomes apparent when you have several layers stacked up in A and B)

it could be considered "a bug", though most won't notice?

Is it not a fading from A to B.
Is it a transparency fading of each layer on the group A and each layer on the group B.
    Is not a Bug...
