Hello together

I'm planing a 15 minute audio-video-show with 4 differnt outputs from Modul8. For this reason I have to start all the 4 different movies at the same time. Also the audio has to start at the same time. I choose modul8 because i need the multiple output an the perspective transform. Is there any possibility to link video and audio in modul8?
If I can link the 4 layers together to start them at the same time, I can start the audio manually, but this is not so exactly...

Does anyone knows how I can do this?
thanx a lot!!

Hello Spjoni,

The most efficient way to do this is to simply embed your audio in with the QuickTime movie.

To trigger several clips at once with the touch of 1 button:

1. Enable key mapping
2. Choose 'position' as the mapping method
3. Select the layer and then media you want to assign the layer to
4. Hit the key you want to use to trigger the all the clips
5. Repeat 3 for the rest of the layers and their media using the same key

Glad to help.

@tb_101 if you follow the outline above you should be able to do this.
It is possible to just create a simple module to do this but with the example I have provided it's not necessary to do so.

sorry, my question was not clear.
my problem is that i have 3 modules, where i have to map
one key to different buttons.

this works fine at the main interface, but
it seems not to work at modules :-(

That's correct. MIDI and key mapping for modules is different from the system employed by the main interface.

I don't know which modules you are referring to but it might be that you can maybe merge them so you can get the functionality you want in them so that you are using only one key/binding to do everything you want. That's one of the reasons I end up making modules anyway.
