About to buy modul8 but...

Hi there,
Quick question to the mods really as the email keeps bouncing back...?
After sampling the demo version which I really like, I'm really interested in purchasing Modul8 but am aware that after reading various posts on the forum, there is a major new release is due soon.
Unfortunately I cannot wait for the update as I am performing at a festival on the 8th August and need the software for then, however would feel a bit short changed if a new version was released shortly after I purchased 2.5.8. Would I be entitled to a free upgrade if a new version is released within a certain period of time after purchasing 2.5.8?
