you have the layer sequencer, the media sequencer, record layer function, record master function...

If you need more sequencing capabilities you should hook it up with ableton

Is it possible to hook it up tp ableton, and use ableton's sequencer? How do I do this? I have ableton live 7.

there's no simple answer but basically ableton sends midi-modul8 reads midi
