This function posed some problems with the crossfading between the layersets.
That's the reason why it's not supported anymore.

Yes sorry...
There are now two groups of layersets into the version two of modul8.
And we didn't find a simple and good solution for this fonction yet.
I thinks so, 'copy to next' is not really elegant and useful solution...
That's the reason why it's not supported at this time.

exclusion :
that's very sad as i was a big fan of this feature and i used it a LOT in v.1.
i hope there's a chance to get it back in a future update ??
copy to next layerset :
hm. that's a BIG problem (in my opinion) because i always like to 'alter' a great layer set that i did with some changes to make some variations of an existing layerset.
so at the moment it is impossible to keep a good layerset as is and make a variation of it on the next layerset
any plans to bring that function back ?
no question, the new functions in v.2. are ALL really great !!
but 'missing features' that i was using a lot are a little bit frustrating...
exclusion

The different additive modes were really useful, yes. But I understand the problem here, and I rather have two crossfading groups...

yes, the xfade is great!
perhaps later some core-image effect will replace the missing exclusion?
