There's already a module to insert text as a layer.
Check the modules I believe it's called TEXT.

    It ships with Modul8 pre-installed.

    From the finder menu select:

    Modules > Show > TEXT

If you accidentally removed it from you Modul8 folder then select:

    Modules > Online Library

    - Click on the GarageCube Library tab
    - In the search field on the upper right side of this this window type in 'TEXT'
    - On the bottom of the window click on 'Install'
    - Quit Modul8 and when prompted hit 'Save'
    - Launch modul8 and then repeat the procedure above

If you do not see any modules when you select 'Show' then check to see if there is a modules folder in the folder where Modul8 is.

If it is there and you still do not see the modules when using the 'show' menu then something else is terribly wrong and you need to send a message to support at garagecube dot com.

Please provide us with your serial number so we can verify your account with us.

    My pleasure.

Also check out some of the other text related modules. The most useful one IMHO is (vs) Text Changer (layer) that allows you to load in several pieces of text and play them back.
