How do i sequence a show of video works without a midi sequencer? Or is there a basic midi sequencer i can get for the mac? I am not a music maker so i don't have a keyboard or logic audio.

i want certain films to play at certain times of the day. i want them to dissolve into one another.

Numerology is an excellent one. Or PatternSequencer that is free.

If you want films to play at certain times of the day I don't think it's a sequencer you're after. You're probably better off with some basic custom software. You could try to make something with Quartz composer which comes free with your mac os or maybe you could build a module for this?

Or you could simply use the 'SlideShow' module and enable 'wait movie' so that it plays the current movie all the way to the end.

I am going off topic now as i have got a midi sequencer! which is great!

using numerology2 how do i control the value of a knob? i can successfully trigger films to play and switch, but i need to adjust the opacity of a layer over a duration of the sequence.

I have tried mapping a pitchbend to a key but that doesn't seem to work.

also it would be great to be able to pause the movies with timecode display at the playhead in numerology2.

i am getting into this!
