    3D filter?

    by martyw79 » Fri Apr 23, 2010 2:31 am

    Hi,

I'm looking for a way to create 3D video content, the type that requires the glasses (paper).

Someone over on another forum mentioned at Resolume has a 3D filter,
    does Modul8 have anything similar?

    Maybe there's a freeframe filter?

    Any help/direction apprecaited.

I'm afraid that creating true anaglyph content is not a case of filtering it.
    here's a brief explanation:
    http://www.stcroixstudios.com/wilder/an ... glyph.html

Still you could create a quick and dirty effect by duplicating a layer, tinting one with red and one with green/blue and offsetting one of them a few pixels. There's a freeframe that does that here:

but as I said it won't be true anaglyph

    Hi mowgli_uk,

It's more the look I'm after and not functional 3D content.
The filters perfect...thanks for your help!

yeah, took us a very long time to get our anaglyph stuff working well - can get great results from it...

just splitting the colours won't get you any depth...
