zoom unzoom constant speed

Hi there!
For a specific project, I have to zoom and unzoom in an animation, M8 give some good result with the autoscale. The only problem I get is about the speed, when the size is very small the speed is getting higher, I get the feeling my animated object is flying away. Is there a way to have a constant speed during the zoom/unzoom?
Thanx for advices,
Arnaud

. it sounds like you have the zoom set to 'smooth' - try changing that to 'linear' (i'm not sure of the exact names, i don't have modul8 on this system...)

Smooth is the mode giving the best result compare to linear, but I was looking for a trick to make it more constant. A very small object will look going faster than a very big, that's the reason I need to slow up the speed when the object is further from the camera point of view. it's kind of difficult to explain..
Hope I make it clear.

it's only a matter of visual illusion. It's actually not going faster, but the fact that it's smaller looks like it's going faster… If your good with maths, you can imagine a function that does a half sinus so it's slowing down when it goes small but not when it goes bigger, doing a module for that is a real piece of cake as long as you have the function

Thanks Sigma for the explanation, I get the idea, it makes sense (even I hate math). The thing is I'm bad in programming this kind of stuff, I guess if someone build it, it will help the whole M8 users (no, I'm not the only one looking for this function, no..).
