What cord can i use to hook up my vga laptop to my tv? I need a cord that can be used to hook up my vga laptop to my telivison. Some kind of a vga to tv cord that works for computers since most of the ones on amazon do not.

It depends. Does your TV have a port that looks something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SVGA_port.jpg ?

As you're on the Modul8 forum I expect that you have a Mac and you say that you have VGA out and since it's on a laptop it must be mini VGA. My conclusion is that you will need this adapter:

And then you should be able to connect to a TV with VGA port with a cord that has one male VGA connector in each end.
